Marjoram (Sweet) - Hungary Essential Oil

Country of Origin/Extraction method: Hungary / Essential oil by steam distillation from the flowering herb.

Properties for use in Aromatherapy: This warming and relaxing oil is said to have pain-killing properties. While it strengthens the bodily systems and is considered to be an ideal massage oil for the treatment of arthritis, lumbago, sprains, bruises, rheumatism and joint and muscle pain.

Combined with lavender in a bath or massage before bedtime, it calms the nervous system and makes a good remedy for insomnia, hyperactivity or PMS.

Blends well with: lavender, rosemary, bergamot, chamomile, cypress, cedarwood, tea tree and eucalyptus.

Safety: Avoid during pregnancy. Overuse is said to dull the senses and cause drowsiness. Avoid if you suffer from very low blood pressure.
